DS Lite is awesome! It's like, the best game system. Get a pink DS Lite. Pink is a girly color. Also, some games for girls:
Nintendogs(Any Of Them)
Animal Crossing: Wild World
Sims 2 or Sims 2 Pets
Super Princess Peach
Cooking Mama
Oh my, there are so many! Just look for games that girls like. =)

Get the Nintendo DS Lite. Make sure it's the DS Lite.
Good games for girls? Depends on the girl. Take her to the Best Buy or Toys R Us and show her what's available. I would list stereotypically, "girly" games...but everyone's different.

ds is great for young girls i just got one for my 8 yr old and she loves it. she got a psp last year and has bout 8 games and never touches it. psp games arent very child oriented much less for young girls. the ds on the other hand almost all the games are made with the young gamer in mind and still being fun enough for adults to enjoy

New Super Mario Bros. its not very girly but it's a cool game

DONT get it!!!!!!!! im 13 and i hated mine! i sold it on ebay. TRUST ME BUT ONE AND SELL IT! There going for big bucks on ebay.
