Sign up for http://www.photobucket.com/, upload it there, and select the option that makes your photos private.

Try www.yousendit.com
You upload it to their website and put the email addresses of who you want to see it. They get a mail saying it is there then go and download it. Not quite what you were looking for but there is no limit on the size of the file.

you can use either:
megaupload.com, rapidshare.com,up-file.com,sendspace.com. yousendit.com
take your pick once your files uploaded you send the download link to whoever you choose

bebo.com but make sure yoru make your profile private so you have to be asked if its okay for people to view it.
i dont know what their allowance is though
