If you are subpoenaed and do not show, a warrant will be issued immediately for your arrest. You did not give much detail of your particuliar situation, so we dont know why you are being called to court. The best bet would be to call an attorney or the courthouse, and explain whatever your situation is to find out what your required to do. Good luck.

Then a warrant is issued for your arrest. If you have to get out of court, you had better call them ahead of time and they might require a doctor's note or something in writing. Whatever you do, keep in contact with them, don't blow them off!

Contempt of court charges and possibly a bench warrant for your arrest.

Judges and courts don't take being blown off lightly!

You might want to call the court but subpeona means 'under penality'. They will most likely issue a bench warrant for you. Depending on the offense, they may come looking for you.

Call a lawyer.

You must show up for court or a warrant for your arrest will be issued. If you drive and get stopped by the police (for whatever reason) and they run your name...you will be arrested in public. That is so embarrassing so just turn yourself in girl.

if it was mailed u could always say u didn't get it but then they will reschedule the court to have u served by a court official, so the trick is to avoid the court official, and not let them serve u, other than that u must go or they hold u in contempt of court.

You'll still end up in court - at your own trial, for contempt of court.
