Of course, just about anything from the '60s, but you're asking for modern so, off the top of my head... Holiday by Green Day. Mr. President by Pink. And on the other side of the equation... um... hmmm... Peaceable Kingdom by Rush. Not as popular, but IMHO, a better song.
