In the past racial profiling was mostly with blacks, then latinos, and now depending on where you live asians are are the list in active gang areas.
Racial profiling is wrong and law enforcement agencies are working hard to eliminate this social issue.

Police have always used racial profiling when it comes to Blacks and Latinos. Its rare to hear about whites getting harassed by the police. Even black police officers are starting to profile against their own people, its something about being in law enforcement that makes officers feel that its okay to judge someone based on their race. Since 911, Arabs have been added to the list of those being profiled. Whenever they get pulled over their information gets sent to some FBI computer to ensure that their not a terrorist, just for getting pulled over for a speeding ticket.

For years i was a manager of a national police brutality agency, and while a few cases did happen to whites, the MAJORITY was Black and Hispanic... And the worse cases of brutality, abuse and the like, NEVER, EVER happened to a white person. Not while I was working anyway, thats not to say it DOESNT happen but 9 TIMES OUT OF 10, it is not going to be a white person being harrassed by the police. It is going to be someone of color.
There is definitly racial profiling going on, all one has to do is open their eyes and even do some research.

This is something that I have heard, but I am tired of everyone using the race card and I am black myself. Perhaps it is the blacks and latinos that are committing more crimes or breaking the law. If they would stop making names for themselves they would be left out of the profiling. When ever a problem occurs they always want to play the race card. Get over it!!!

Racial profiling is officially created for all groups, and ranges from everything from white collar crime to murder. It just so happens that the more visible blue collar crimes (theft, murder and drugs mainly) are committed by more hispanics and blacks as a % of the pop. Insert any social justification at this point, but it for whatever reason works marvellously well as a crime deterrent device.

I took a class last semester, and sadly that is true. However, to date, you would have to include the Arab community on that. I read an article, actually several, where people from Arabic origins are being pulled over, taken in and questioned simply because of their ethnicity. It is just the way society operates.

I guess it really depends on where you are in the world. In white neighborhoods, yes.
In black neighborhoods or black oriented parts, no.
