I was at first but not now..Ihave been wearing contacts since 1980 and absolutely no problems in putting them in! Practice by
wetting your finger with wetting solution and lightly touch your
eyeball! Putting on the lense the same way is 100% easier and without any sensation!

I was the first time I did it, actually I had a harder time getting the contact out the first time than i did putting it in Now - - I probably really scared you that you won't be able to get them out. Don't worry, you will eventually get it out.

I kept telling myself that I wasn't actually touching my eye, it is the contact that touches your eye, your finger is just on the contact. You will get used to it, before you know it, you'll pop them in, in a second.

You'll love them. Soooo totally better than glasses!

Go for it!

I wasn't really scared, but the thought of putting something in my eyes was a very strange concept to me.
My eye dr helped me out the first couple times..and actually him putting them in my eyes creeped me out far worse.
I just got a trial pair from him and went home and practiced. After awhile it wasn't so weird anymore, and now it doesn't bother me at all.
I think it's just getting past that first stages of thinking..oh my i have to touch my eyeballs..and my eyes won't cooperate with me (i know i kept blinking the first few times cause i didn't want to touch my eyes)
It does get better though once you start to get used to the idea.
Just take your time.

I was at first. They were good for a while, then I started having trouble. After they've been in disinfectant solution, I took one out and it started flipping around on my finger, and I could never figure out which side went in face down. I think that may have been my eyesight, though. You'll get used to them, they only feel wierd the first couple of times.

I'm not scared of doing it, I simply prefer not to. I heard of someone going blind once from putting the wrong contact solution, having it make contact with their eye.

nope - i do it everyday and i have since i was in the 7th grade. it takes about a day to get used to them in your eyes and then after that you good to go. and to tell you the truth it isnt nearly half as bad as it sounds (the whole putting it in your eye thing). Its easy and getting contacts was one of the best things i have ever done!

hi, I actual have a toric lens in considered one of my eyes and it is amazingly solid and that i've got been everyday to have fairly extreme soreness when I first positioned them in, plenty so as that I actual have had to take them out very almost straight away away, it would not ensue every time, and, frequently while i've got not been wearing them very in many situations. i exploit dailies so i'm hoping this places your ideas at relax that it occurs to human beings too.
