I love my daughter sooooo much I only asked as she was at youth club and I wanted to hear what hobbies people have not to be told to stop living til my child turns 18 wise up please.
We do every thing together but if i started going to the same school, guides and youth club she would hate me. children have to live thier own lives to mature to be great social and independant adults....... sorry about the rant.

Single parents will always get a raw deal - esp as most of the media moguls are men.
As for having more fun, what do you like doing apart from asking/answering questions on here?!
You could do a course through distance learning or enrol at your local college - most have a creche - and do a random course.
There are lots of more exciting hobbies than stamp collecting, personally I would prefer to watch paint dry, but it's up to you what constitutes fun!!!

Your sense of humore is not lacking!! lol I laughed when I read the thing about stamp collecting.
Enroll in a hobby class like pottery or woodworking or anything that interests you. Do a cruise for singles. There are a lot of them and they are really cheap. IM or email me if you want help , I am a travel agent.
It is so easy to lose yourself in parenthood so you have to take time out for yourself. As a single parent you have it even harder so light some candles around the bathtub and slip into a warm bubble bath and then treat yourself to something special because you deserve it! Get a friend or relative to watch your child and just get outdoors. A brisk walk always lifts the spirits, or go shopping! Join a single mothers group.

Wow!
You can't think of anything on your own? What do you do with your daughter? What are you 'giving up'? This is the only pleasure you are having? Sad life there. Maybe take more pride in being a mom, and stop looking at it like its some kind of punishment. Your child didn't ask to be born, you are responsible for making the best life possible for this child. So get up off your butt and go be with your daughter!
As for your own time, that comes when your daughter is out of your home, at 18! You want a hobby? Read a book, take a class, make your life better.

Oh, well such as life. You should take some pleasure in watching your daughter grow because of what you are giving up. Take some pride in what you are doing for her and stop worrying about your own pleasure. Not saying you shouldn't have your own life, but make sure she doesn't suffer for it. So many children do now adays. Maybe try finding a family member than can take her awhile a night a week or so and just get out by yourself. Maybe join a health club in your spare time or go out on a date every once in awhile.

its tough creating a blance between caring for a child yet allowing youself the pleasures and down time you deserve. you both have a life. ask what sort of fun you need:- time on your own, social things with men and women, social things with women so you can let your hair down and have a good moan! :)
a good network of friends and family to share the load of looking after your daughter is essential so you can have a life too. its alla bout sharing, asking for help, balance and give and take
good luck
