Everyone worldwide, or everyone just in North America? (You can see why I ask at the following link: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ajflo6p9mM69B5iDKplUgwvsy6IX?qid=20060909151956AAk7AB8 )
Worldwide, I'd pick the following:
1. Beatles--Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
2. Pink Floyd--Dark Side of the Moon
3. Gipsy Kings (self-titled)
4. Kira--Goldfisch
5. Juliane Werding--Zeit für Engel
6. Out of Africa (Rykodisc compilation)
7. Nicole--Wenn schon...denn schon
8. John Farnham--Then Again...
9. Manhattan Transfer--Vocalese
10. Anthony Robbins--Personal Power II
For North America only, it's hard for me to say because my musical tastes are predominantly European. Another factor to consider, too, is that people have different musical tastes. If I were to rank the top ten jazz albums, here's what they'd be:
1. Miles Davis--Bitches Brew
2. Brecker Brothers (self-titled)
3. Steps Ahead--Magnetic
4. Chick Corea--Light as a Feather
5. Keith Jarrett--The Köln Concert
6. Weather Report--8:30
7. Chuck Mangione--Feels So Good
8. Jean-Luc Ponty--Cosmic Messenger
9. Manhattan Transfer--Extensions
10. Herbie Hancock--Maiden Voyage

Why would anyone put albums on an mp3? Most albums are made up of 2 songs you know and recognise, the rest is rubbish.
So - to answer your question. Nuffink. Select a few tracks from each great album, and stuff them on yr player.
Happy listening !

i do no longer think of i will arise with ten. yet i understand Paid In finished via Eric B. & Rakim replaced into groundbreaking. It replaced into maximum possibly the album that popularized use of the Funky Drummer James Brown pattern. The Blueprint via Jay Z additionally had staggering sampling too, wherein Kanye used vocal samples that he could benefit extreme compliment for. The Low end thought replaced into solid too, reason at the back of the found hyperlink between jazz and rap. solid record via the way. i could no longer have performed this. BQ: J. Cole's Friday evening lights furniture 9/10.
