There are 6-8 of us looking to spend a weekend in Seattle, but need to find somewhere to stay - is there a good place to check out for maybe some house/cabin rentals. We don't mind hotel/motel if there is a kitchenette or something, so we don't need to eat out every meal.

Also, if you don't mind hotels, there's the Inn at Queen Anne. It's in the Lower Queen Anne neighborhood and they offer rooms with kitchenettes. It's within walking distance to Seattle Center and Space Needle and you can catch a quick bus or the monorail to downtown.

if i was you and your going to be here for a bit
i'd stay in like levenworth or somthing , but as far as seattle goes
try finding a place close to green lake its close to downlown a very nice area and should be a bit cheaper than most also dont look at the big chain places there are bunchs of smaller hotels that are really cool like all modern art deco and just well really posh looking i guess but they where cheap i cant remeber the name of it, it was somthing french, ummm yea update your question and i'll come back with some other places let me know for how long and what you guys wan to do while your here

I stayed at the Capital Hill Guest house. Great people, great place or you can always try the green tortise hostel, I heard that was interesting from other people.
