I had the same problem. I had worn a 36C for awhile, but it never fit quite right. When I measured myself and went and had it done in Victorias Secret I found out I'm really a 34D. It was bittersweet though; I now know my correct size, but you can hardly find 34D bras anywhere! 36Cs are more readily available.

I'm a 32C, I used to wear a 36B lol. Glad I got measured professionally! Although the add 5 rule doesn't work for me because my ribcage is small, so I only add 3. I'm 29 inches underneath the breasts and 35 inches around the fullest part. 34A is too tight on the cups and too lose on the band, so 32C fits perfectly.

Not only is the correct bra more comfortable, one looks better. For size, lets just say I'm a bigger than average. Sometimes I feel too big.

I was a 34C but i got my measurements and it said I'm a 36, so I'm guessing I'm a 36A now
