I'd say Hakeem the Dream! He had to many moves for KG to keep up with.... And at his best he embarassed big men like David Robinson, out played a young healthy Shaq, and out played Patrick Ewing. I like KG but to be honest he's never been on Shaq's level( and the Dream out played Shaq).

What type of question is that. Do you remember when Hakeem dominated David Robinson and Shaq in the same playoffs. Robert Horry said out of Shaq, Tim Duncan and hakeem he said Hakeem was the best and he has played with all three. I like Kg but as great as he is he needs someone beteer than himself to win a championship. The one year he made it out of the first round it was because Cassell and Srewell were taking the big shots. Hakeem singlr handedly won the Rockets second champioship as the number six seed in 1995. Need I say more!

A superstar can have great impact on a game. By position the most impact usually comes from the point or center. Michael Jordan and now maybe Kobe are the rare exceptions. A great point Nash, Magic, Stockton can cover a lot of a teams deficiencies. A great center Jabar, Bill Russel, Wilt or Shaq can elevate a team to greatness. KG is a very good player but its hard to dominate from the 4 spot or the wing and Hakeem was more powerful than Garnett.

You gotta go with Hakeem. 3 titles to KG's 0. Hakeem was the most dominant center in the NBA during the 90's, KG's not even the most dominant player in his conference. This shouldn't even be an argument.

They both are great players/athletes. I would say they are totally different player the Dream had all the post moves while KG likes to do the jump shots and fade aways. Bottom line the Dream has won the title so I would go with the Dream.

Olajuwon. He has the rings to prove it. Quality centers are more important to a basketball team than any other position on the floor and Hakeem definately fit that bill.

me too man, KG has yet t win a championship, but his team around KG sucks. The Dream is one of the best Centres to ever play basketball, and no one will ever forget his contributions to the NBA

KG and just cause KG doesn't have any rings on him that doesn't make someone better. His team is not good enough to support him. KG can shoot game winners, get rebounds, points and blocks.
