You say how much you earn
You should get paid about 1/3 rd of that or 33%
So 1/3 of 18000 = 6000
6000 + 20% = 7200
6000 + 15% = 6900
But of course you must tell your boss how you will earn 20% or 15% more of 18000 so if you can't work it out don't ask.

10% of £18000 = £1800
5% of £18000 = £900
15% of £18000 = £2700
20% of £18000 = £3600
Note that the value obtained for 20% is 2 x the value obtained for 10% and 5% gives half the value obtained for 10%.
The 15% value is given by adding the 10% value to the 5% value.

Percentage means per hundred. 20% really means 20/100 and 15% means 15/100.
20% of 18000 =20/100*18000=3600
15% of 18000 =15/100*18000=2700

Figuring percentage change
Percentage means per hundred
So, a percentage is really just a fraction – something out of a hundred.
To get the percentage change, divide the difference between the two numbers by the starting number.
Percentage increase
Divide the change by the number you started with. An increase from 50 to 75 works like this:
25/50 = .50 = 50% increase
Percentage decrease
We do this the same way, but we call it a decrease. A decrease from 75 to 50 works like this:
25/75 = .33 = 33% decrease
Multiplying by percentage
To figure or check the percentage of something, first estimate so that you can later check to see if you’re in the ballpark.
Then it’s just multiplication.
A 30 percent increase in a number would be 1.30 (or 1.3) times the original number. For example, a 30 percent increase on $85,000 would be $110,500.
A 23 percent decrease in something would be .77 times the original number. For example, a 23 percent decrease in $85,000 would leave you with $66,450.
In some stories, the amount of the change, rather than the new total, may be most relevant. Then, using the first example above, you would say that the 30 percent increase on the $85,000 amount brought an increase of $25,500. It is never wrong to give all the numbers: first, last and the amount of change.

To find a percentage, you multiply the starting number (18000) by the decimal equivalent of the percentage.
To find the decimal equivalent of a percentage all you do is move the decimal point to the left two spaces.
For example, all you have to do to find 20% of 18000 is to multiply 18000 by 0.20. (0.20=20%). This answer is 3600. Here a 20% raise would be $21600, (18000+3600=21600).
You would do the same thing to find 15%.
I hope I was helpful. Good luck!

$18000 times .2 =$3600 then add $3600 + $18000 and the answer to the 20% raise is $21600 per year.
$18000 times .15=$2700 then add $2700 + $18000 and the answer to the 15% raise is 20700

18000 + 20% = 21600. 10% of 18000 is 1800 therefore 20% is 3600, 18000 + 3600 = 21600.
18000 + 15% = 20700. 10% of 18000 is 1800 therefore 15% is 2700, 18000 + 2700 = 20700
