If you are pro-choice, I would like for you to tell me why it is o.k. for someone to murder the baby growing inside her. It is a fact that these babies are alive, have conciousness, and can FEEL everything that is being done to them during the abortion. Even the scientific community recoginizes these babies as persons.
Regarding Science and Medicine: Currently, all valid science and medicine is 100% clear that a fetus is a person. Practically, 100% of a person's genetic makeup is determined at the moment of conception. Science and medicine define being a person (human) by genetic means. According to science and medicine, a fetus is a distinct organism.

dba_gregg --- People often do hold memorials for their miscarried fetus. Either way, they greive. It is still the loss of a child.
Abortions don't prevent a woman from becoming a mother. It just makes her the mother of a dead baby.

Chrissy - So are you saying it is better to kill the child than to let them live a hard life? What about adoption? Abortion is a completely selfish act on the womans part.

I am completely against abortion. Unless a woman gets raped or the child will be very sick i don't think abortion should be legal. People who say that the fetus isn't alive are pretty stupid. The fetus ia already alive or else how would it survive. I hate that people would want to murder innocent babies but are against killing the serail killers and murderers. It may be murder but at least that person will not get out of jail to haunt families again. Abortion is a mistake cover up. If abortion was illegal women would think before they jumped into bed with any guy.

Abortion may be a very serious thing, but it is up to the woman to choose not the male dominated government. If you made abortion illegal desperate women would find a way to abort their fetus - and it wouldn't be so safe. You make it seem like pro-choicers enjoy it and feel no remorse. That is simply ignorant.

How would it be OK for anyone else to determine what someone else does.Why would anyone want there to be another unwanted child brought into this world.There is already enough starving,poor,neglected kids in it.What is right for one may not be right for another, All you anti abortion people are very closed minded.
Ok what about the children at agencies ready to adopt now? Why should you choose for someone else.? Its not selfish to make the best decision for you and a baby. Selfish to me would be to keep a baby that you cant afford to feed clothe shelter. Adoption is great if that is what you Choose to do.

It's not ok, in our opinion it's just more wrong to pass laws where the government attempts to control women's reproduction and throw them in jail for ending their pregnancies. The lesser of two evils. I believe in your right to attempt to convice your friends and family members that they should not choose abortion.
If it is so obvious that embryos are fully fledged humans, why dont' pro-life people call the coronoer when they have a misscarriage or have a funeral for their embryos? Answer: Even they know there's a moral difference in status between a fetus and a child.

It is NOT a baby, unless the woman chooses for the fetus to become a baby.

I find it odd the pro choicers say say a fetus isn't life.Yet when scientist find bacteria on Mar's they say they found a life.
