Well it is kinda cruel to drink Kool-Aid in front of it, I am sure it would like to try it sometime. Maybe a fruit roll-up would be a nice snack too.

A little sugar is actually good for most plants, but I don't know about the coloring that's in it.

The plant might be more sensitive to chemicals in the city water (like flouride). You can handle flouride, plants can't.
