It means he's going to pull your number (kill you), but considering it was a complete stranger and if you really weren't antagonizing him at all, he's probably just messing with you. He and his buddies probably had a laugh about it.
I mean, you're still alive, right? If he's a stranger, how is he going to murk you if he doesn't even know who you are/where you live? I wouldn't worry about it.

the only meaning of merc to me is mercenary which is someone who lives to fight wars. The join any militia to kill others. Maybe this loser means he is going to kill you.
