Expose chlorinated water to sunlight to remove chlorine from it. When chlorine water is exposed to bright sunlight, the chlorine is decomposed and a solution of hydrochloric acid remains. This acid is not very stable and the solution readily decomposes especially when exposed to sunlight yielding oxygen. A safe and natural method of purifying chlorine water. Known as 'Hamsodhakam' in ancient Indian science.
Also, remember to keep the water in a vessel with a broad mouth. Cover it with a thin loin cloth to keep away dust particles. Water exposed to sunlight is energy rich.

Invest $30 in a "Pure" filter that screws onto your kitchen sink faucet. Refills are about $10 apiece and last approximately 4 months.

They seem to think it's the best way to clean the water so it won't kill us (?). You must live in my neighborhood because the water is enough to gag ya. I buy bottled water by the gallon to drink and for cooking, and leave the nasty stuff to the laundry, etc.
