A lot of rockstars might do the trick like . . . John Lennon. The media portrayed him as this total musical genius, but he was also a loving husband and father.

If you lived in the Atlanta area, a *perfect* candidate would be a woman named Ashley Smith who "helped capture" an extremely dangerous fugitive. The press heralded her as a "hero", but she was a meth addict who had given up her daughter to relatives. In fact, she was on meth when she was held hostage by Brian Nichols! Basically she was a loser, who the media portrayed as an "angel" and a "hero". She even wrote a book called "Unlikely Angel" if you want to look her up. She was on national news for a while in 2005, but was most famous here in Georgia, because, of course, she lived here. I'm guessing she turned her life around after all the fame . . .

Bill Clinton, (or even Hillary, for that matter),
Michael Jackson, Bill Gates, or how about the Reverend Al Sharpton?
People in the media treat him like a fool sometimes, but he is actually amazing.

Marilyn Monroe. She was portrayed as ditzy blone bombshell actress, but she has also said to have had ties to some communist and knew too much about the Kennedys. And reportedly had relations with Bobby and JFK.

Research the scenario between her and JFK...

Honestly, I think Dolly Parton would be good. She's always been portrayed as a big-boob tramp but from all the interviews I've seen with her and others that know her she is exactly the opposite. She's actually very admirable.
