Although it isn't up yet, you should check out http://www.berraboutique.com. A friend of mine started her own business selling new and used formal and semi-formal/cocktail gowns. I've looked at what she has and the dresses are all gorgeous. She's has them priced really low.
She said the website and all of the dresses will be available by this weekend (Jan 3 or 4).

I don't know where you live but this store called DEBS is the place to go buy dresses for all occasions here in Connecticut. They have fairly cheap dresses. They're generally $80 when they're not on sale. Any Westfield mall should have the store, just go onto their site and find a mall that you can go to.

check out www.debshop.com - its a place in malls in the united states that have cute semi formal dresses for inexpensive prices.
Also you could check out Jessica McClintock's website. I got my prom dress from one of her stores last year and it was only $100 and was pretty formal but they have other semi formal dresses there too. Hope this helps!

Forever 21! I just bought 3 dresses from there this month, online- for $20-30 each. They are very stylish, and affordable, with styles ranging from casual to dressy.

Black-tie skill particularly formal. and you're waiting to be waiting to desire to discover an excellent gown for $200, actual bypass looking. i don't be conscious of the region you're placed so i'm no longer able to grant you any innovations there, yet in reality, you opt to gown as as quickly as you're attending the opening night of the opera: chic floor-length gown, minimum jewerly (pearls if accessible). you're able to placed on open-toe footwear in the event that they are decked out suitable, yet undergo in innovations which you will probable have on an prolonged gown and you do no longer elect footwear which will enable your gown get linked on your ft. that's particularly embarassing! If the floor-length gown does no longer paintings out for you, you will elect an particularly fancy "actual below the knee" gown. attempt to think of of of others attending this adventure. as quickly as you're attending something with government officers, have not got your breasts and thighs putting out. that's basically spectacular to bypass average with this crowd.
