Yes, you can use AOL on a Mac.
You cannot contact Apple Support if you do not own a Mac because to contact Apple Support, you need an Apple email address which you can get only if you have purchased a Mac.

Macs are easier to use and have higher quality and tech support than any other type of computer and operating system (according to Consumer Reports). And you can definitely use AOL on a Mac computer. Many of my friends do use AOL on their Macs as well as on PCs (and most of them wish they had a Mac but use PCs for business purposes).
