On my phone i was send a video but my phone coundn't read it or play it because it was mp4, my phone is ''sharp770sh'' what can i do ...?

the program to convert will almost always cost you money,, the one i use is AVS Video Converter,, the problem is your phone needs it's video in a format called 3gp,,instead of MP4,, it's basically a huge pain for some small video,,

BTW: an ipod can play an MP4

mp3s are music files so if you converted a video to mp3 it would lose the video...

You should find out what kind of video format your phone supports or handles (Avi, mov, mpeg, divx, wmv, dv, vob, etc.) and find a good video converter program (Squared5's "Mpeg Streamclip" is useful and free) to alter the video to make it playable.

You want to convert to 3GP not MP3 to do this go to www.winavi download the winavi MP4 converter this will do it. it works very well.

Umm.. mp4 is for video and mp3 is for music. you can try to change it into other types like amw or dvd.

mp4 is an Apple/iTunes music format. Do you have iTunes on your computer and can you email the file to yourself?

**Edited my bad...the Apple/iTunes format is .m4p

The video format you probably need to convert it to is .3gp which all cheaper phones use
