Some silly warning labels that I guess some moron did at one time, so now we all have to be treated like a moron.
"For external use only!" -- On a curling iron.
"Warning: This product can burn eyes." -- On a curling iron.
"Do not use in shower." -- On a hair dryer.
"Do not use while sleeping." -- On a hair dryer.
"Do not use while sleeping or unconscious." -- On a hand-held massaging device.
"Do not place this product into any electronic equipment." -- On the case of a chocolate CD in a gift basket.
"Recycled flush water unsafe for drinking." -- On a toilet at a public sports facility in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
"Shin pads cannot protect any part of the body they do not cover." -- On a pair of shin guards made for bicyclists.
"This product not intended for use as a dental drill." -- On an electric rotary tool.
"Caution: Do not spray in eyes." -- On a container of underarm deodorant.

I can be a bit of a rebel. Sometimes I do remove the tags just because I don't like tags.

Have to remember that we were brought up learning these things. Like telling a young child not to touch the stove - it's hot! Learning experience. As for the tags - you own it, you can abuse it.

I really want to clear this up. The tag says "Not to be removed EXCEPT BY CONSUMER" We are the consumers, people. We can rip those mfs off all day long.

I love those warnings. The worst part is that someone had to have done it for the warning to be issued.

that is done not because some idiot wrote them at one time or other but because some idots done these things and got clever lawyers to sue the companies so now they protect themselves by writing that shite. that can ONLY be seen in america. why am i not surprised

i'm a rebel..i guess, one time a state patrol officer walked up to me and just stared at me, i stared back, said hello, he continued to stare, so i offered him a cigar, i all ways remove the tags, stuff like that.

all those are for the people that are so dumb. My one uncle read the back of a pretzel bag that gave directions for opening the bag how stupid, LOL
