He was accused of killing his chauffer,it was declared a mistrial I believe.It's been a few years,I haven't heard much about it since then.PLEASE DON'T GET JAYSON WILLIAMS confused with Jason Williams of the Miami Heat or the Jason Williams who used to play for the Chicago Bulls.

I believe he was aquitted. The prosecution was talking about refiling charges but as of yet has no. After the aquittal, he briefly talked about returning to the NBA but has since dropped off of the map.

He was acquitted on the charge of aggravated manslaughter, and convicted on four lesser counts.

Prosecutors in 2006 won a right to retry Williams on the charge of reckless manslaughter, which had originally resulted in a hung jury. Williams' lawyers argued against it citing double jeopardy, but a judge ruled against them. No such trial has been set due to appeals on both sides:
