Yes I think the country has already gone mad! Drug users are treated like royalty-just look what it's done for Kate Moss. The best way to get on in life seems to be if you abuse drugs or are involved in criminal activities. I am out of work and don't even qualify for free prescriptions! Ahh well, must go, off to buy some crack.

Yes you heard right, so these poor souls are going to use them to buy food, Oh yeah right, what the betting they are exchanged for cash to buy more drugs. If the Government has money to spare, why isn't it spending it more worthwhile things instead of sympathising with theses idiots who have no desire to fit into society, and just want to go and get their next fix. What with all the other problem this country seems to be in at the moment, it does seem a good time to leave.

Funding a drug habit = a lot of crime which is why something has to be done - i didn't think a £10 shopping voucher sounded an awful lot when druggies are spending upwards of £500 on their habit. By the way, the idea originates from America!!

God only, knows what this country is coming to, we could really do with another Guy Fawkes to get rid of this labour government permanently. I think they know they are doomed, as far as the next election is concerned, so they are issuing these shopping vouchers, knowing full well that if there are enough junkies in this country, they might just save from getting kicked out. !!

Pensioners living on the bread line, health service in crisis and what does the government do?Give food vouchers to junkies.
Perhaps they should hire Pete Doherty to advertise on TV for them.

It was suggested as an incentive to help keep them from using drugs, given the bad publicity the idea generated it's unlikely to go ahead.

Ask the editor of the Daily Mail: hate and fear spurts from every page of this vile **** rag, feverishly gripped in a permanent state of outrage about, well, everything.

F'raid it is! I know, the country is doomed. Couldn't believe it either, how can being a complete waster filth no use to society bring rewards, whilst most other people working hard get nothing.
