of course not! if theyre a person that I dont neccessarily want to be friends with im still nice, just not as open. this may just be me, because every living being is ok...
if someone is a bit strange I will definitely avoid them. That way I won't get freaked out. But no matter what, I can't say that I've ever been mean. My friends say that I'm a pushover and yell at me for being nice to the "rejects", or people who i view are not friendly

Depends on what you mean. I would never reject being polite and friendly to another person. But I would not feel obligated to get to know a person if I wasn't interested in doing so. If something clicks (not necessarily STANDARDS), then we can pursue getting to know each other. Friendship building should always come first.

Yes. It is good to accept or reject a person based on your personal standards.

Yes, you reject all those that are below you, and then you go up a notch. You should also reject those even with you, so you do not get rejected by them, because that would lower you. Only hang out with those higher, and you will be raised until you are all powerful and have no friends, and die alone with no one mourning over your grave.

Who's standards...there's or yours...and that would depend on the person...do you like the person? if so, then 'no'...I don't reject people for standards, I don't condemn or judge, I always try to treat others as I want to be treated.

defenitely not, because most of the time you expect to find someone to fit those standards you pick and then when you find someone like that it gets so boring because you already no what to expect, why do that??? its better not to care about that because you would meet interesting ppl and find them more interesting than the one that you want picked out... do you know what i mean, hope i helped out some how, have a good one :o)

Well, it all depends. If your standards or high or even if they aren't try something new. What could it hurt honestly? If it doesn't go well then to bad. But if it does look at what you'd have gained just by trying something new.

Of course. My standards are "Nice, respectful of my rights and opinions, kind..." Oh, yeah, and he should have likes and beliefs which are similar, or at least not completely opposed to my own.
I never date anyone who doesn't fit my standards.

I earned my gratitude and happiness, so why should I allow someone to try and take it away? So, I don't think the word standards defines why I pick and choose who I'm going to spend my precious time with.
