my husband has beed divorced for 5yrs and his exwife never lived at this address, she does not even live in the same town as us.about 4 or 5 times a month we get her mail(mostly junk mail) but why?my worry is my husband in his haste to get away from his crazy ex "overlooked/forgot something" like take her name of something of his.or worse yet she has his name on something of hers.is there anyway we can find out why we keep getting her mail?shes very nasty so asking her is out we would not get a truthful anwser.also my husband still gets mail once in a while addressed to him and her together.why after 5yrs is this still happening?i know this is a minor thing but i'm just fearful there maybe a bigger problem we dont know about

It can be as simple as a mailing list. I get stuff addressed to my ex-husband at my new address with my new husband. It is annoying but it can be something simple as a mailing list that got cross-addressed when they seperated and moved into different households (a mistake by the carrier perhaps). I used to work for the post office and saw it all the time.

I agree with the answers above. If there names were on something together that's still floating around out there, then that could be the reason. Don't sweat it, weider things have happened with the postal system ;o).

Perhaps she's trying to annoy you by giving out your address as hers or maybe she's trying to hide from bill collectors, etc., and giving them the wrong address. Either way, if you are hesitant to contact her and ask her why, you probably won't be able to stop it.

each time you get mail for her, send it back marked "NO SUCH
PERSON AT THIS ADDRESS".
did you consider she might be doing this just to aggravate you?
make you remember that she was his wife first?
ex's are vindictive, hateful b*tch's (sometimes)
