Weird Bruises??

I sprained my ankle a few days ago.... and theres two bruises on my ankle that really stand out. I know that bruises are common with sprains, but these two are literrally diagonal lines that go straight across my ankle. They dont really hurt... but i was wondering if there is a reason for the exact placement and shape of the bruises??

Could just be the way you landed.
Have you seen the doctor? They can tell you if it's normal.
