The last movie was The Break-In, the movie before was Blue Collar .Comedy Thought we were going to receive quality discs.

What is your source for these movies? Are you renting them from a rental store like Blockbuster? Are you renting from Netflix type services?

What ever your source, take them or send them back with notations that they are damaged goods.

If they are bootleg, illegal copies, then you are out of luck. Buy or rent from legal sources.

You did not say "received from ___________???" who sent them to you - a reputable company or some half azzed wanna be that copies discs and tapes illegally and sends them out. use only top notch name brand companies.

Step two is to run your cleaning disk that came with your player. If you don't have it or can't find it - get to the store today and get one and use it according to directions. You could be damaging the discs yourself if they are from a "good" company.

You need to give more information like is it a blue ray disc or a dvd are they store bought or rentals, if they are blue ray disc they probably wont work on reg. dvd u would have to buy the new playstation 3....

Who are you getting these movies from? Netflix will replace movies that you have problems with.

I am having the same problem with movies from our local rental store. I thought it was my DVD player, guess I should check it out huh. thanks
