Age. Your DNA (you know, that stuff that defines you as human and not some other life form) does not change from conception to death. The only thing that changes is your age, the shape of your body, and your place of residence.
Experimenting on any human, regardless of their age, without consent is wrong.

We were all embryos one time. Good thing this wasn't 200 years ago that this experiment was going on and the way some of the women are calling the embryo a nothing that hasn't proven itself should answer your question. They'd have been excellent assistants of Dr. Mengele.

The big difference is Mangler got data that is still used today. Sure the methodology was bazaar. But now we know what it takes to freeze to death or how much electrical shock can a person survive.
The amount of industrial health and safety information gathered by Mangler is vast. And it's the only tested source.
Stem cell research is a gold miners dream. We have nothing yet but the surrounding strata of rock look good.
People do find gold, most don't.

It's not an embryo. It is a blastocyst. Besides, like Moltar said, the disgusting doctor was working on actual human beings.
Some of you act as if stem cell research is some sort of baby dissection. You are so wrong. Most of the cells used for research come from fertility clinics and are ready to be discarded.
