I'm not a mom,lol but my best friend is. She says babies normally sleep the whole trip, just keep the pacifier handy at all times and play light music, oh this is important---- Make sure the cars and especially the trucks behind you doesn't blind your babie's eyes because their headlights will shine in your babies eyes if you have your baby facing backwards in your baby seat. lol I think this is the most time ever I typed the word baby in one letter. Stay warm. Jeremy

If you can, try to plan the trip around the time of day he sleeps the most. If he loves the car he should do fine! You'll only need to make sure you have enough bottles to get him through the car ride and a burp cloth. Maybe plan to stop after 2hrs to just get him out of the car and move around some but if he's sleeping don't worry about it.
You should do fine!! Good luck! (My babies did really well on car trips that were 8 or 11 hrs - it isn't a huge deal at this age!)

My son sleeps most of the time on the way to grandma's house (2 hours). Once I had to hop in the back and offer him a bottle (which was fun with the dog, also I could only give him a small amount from the bottle because he wouldn't take milk from a bottle).
It will be easier with a formula feeder. Just take a thermos of hot water to heat the formula or just stop at rest stops. I am sure they will give you some hot water to heat the formula.
At three months toys tend not to be too useful, I would bring one or two of his favorites (more for when you get there, but leave them packed). Blankets for in the car.
If you are going to sit in the front consider getting a mirror so you can see your baby. Most of all plan on taking at least one break at a reststop.
And if AT ALL possible travel during nap time, or after bed time (we always head home after bed time)

The baby should sleep a lot. Try to start your trip about 1/2 hour before naptime. That will give you a long stretch of easy driving. Expect the trip to take longer because you will need to stop more often. Pack a bag of different toys and give them out one at a time. At the store, they sell these little compartment dispensers for powdered formula. Fill one of these with powder and take small bottles of water. This will allow you to make a bottle quickly.
Honestly, 3 months is a great time for a trip like this. It's harder once they start to crawl and really want out of the carseat. Have fun!

It should be fine. They tend to sleep most the time. Be sure to pack extra clothes and a changing cloth to lay the baby on when you change a messy diaper. Always, always have bags to put messy diapers in stashed in the car. You can never have enough of them. If he takes a pacifier, attach it to the carseat so it won't drop to the floor. Pack an extra on just in case. It really isn't bad traveling with a newborn. When they get older it's a bit of a challenge.

road trip for 3 hours, and 3 hours back, plus the time that your away from home.
Bring the can of formula, a pack of diapers ( which is never too bad to have in the car for emergencies) rags, clothes, 3 extra blankets.
Always bring extra of everything for emergencies. Wipes for the baby and for you.
And feed him and change him before you get in the car, so you wont have to pull over. He'll probably sleep when you drive and poo when you arrive.

My son had to go on a 14 hour trip at 2 months and return at 3 months. He's 11 months and is somewhat use to the trips.
He may sleep, but he may not.
I would pack:
diapers (1 for every hour you are away is the rule)
Formula & bottles
extra change or 2 of clothes (for you and baby, you never know)
Any thing else you know you will need.

More than likely, he will sleep the whole time. Pack bottles already filled with the water, formula, (or ready feed if you can afford it), diapers, wipes, medicine (if any, and a change of clothes or two. My daughter sleeps the whole time on road-trips, but we don't usually drive more than an hour or so. Good Luck!

He'll probably sleep most of the way, but pull over immediately if he starts crying. I traveled a long trip with my daughter at about the same age and it took a couple extra hours from the stops, but they were all for very good reasons, like diaper changes and feedings. If she didn't need anything, she spent the rest of the time sleeping.

You know, my baby hated car rides around the city, but once we got on the freeway, she was so happy. I don't know if it is the vibration of the car or what, but she was a perfect baby for our 10 our car ride to California. She slept just about the whole time, just woke up to eat. Definitely bring a bottle or three or four. Are there any toys in particular that he likes to look at, since he probably isn't really playing with him a lot? Good luck. Every baby is different.
