I've been breastfeeding my newborn who's 5wks. And when my milk first came in my breasts were a lot bigger and fuller feeling. Now they don't seem to get engored near as fast and they don't feel as big as in the beggining. Is that normal to have happen once breastfeeding has been established? I still feel the let down sensation, and he seems to be getting enough (poopy diapers, lots of peeing, and not fussing once he's eaten). Can your milk supply just drop for no reason? I eat enough, drink enough, and he nurses like every 1-3 hrs during the day just depending. He only nurses for about 10 minutes at a time on one side though, is that OK? I also don't need to pump like I did to begin with, can someone please help with this question! First baby too!!!!!!

Beast milk is supply and demand. What is happening is fine and normal. Your milk supply is not decreasing (dropping) your body is just regulating it self.
As for nursing if he is nursing as often as you say,10 min is fine. BUT always offer the second breast just in case, and remember if he is only breastfeeding on one side alternate breasts with the feeds.
No pumping the breast is not necessary, all that will do is make your body to produce more then what your baby is eating and you will be engorged and uncomfortable again.

your milk will adjust to the law of supply and demand. at different times your baby will go through a growth cycle feed more often and then your milk will increase as needed. There is no set time on feeding thats just crap. Breast feed on demand is easier and better for baby. They will eat when they are hungry as much as they need. If over fed it just comes right back out. Don't wake baby to feed its unnecessary baby will wake soon enough when hungry. Can't help with the breast pump thing as i never used one with any of my three children. Just remember not to pull off suddenly while feeding that hurts and can make you sore. Baby will come off themselves when full. When one side is empty or suckling/swallowing has slowed right down change sides. Withdraw by sticking your finger in the side of their mouth to break suction. Hours between feedings change depending on their growth cycles. If you have difficulties contact your local breastfeeding association or la leche league for advice.

Your body adjusts to need. If your baby is nursing as you say then your supply is adjusting to that.
Are you wanting increased production for size? That is a different situation.
