it would be better with out x factor and all the pop stuff, lousy stuff like that becuae you can se how fake it all is and also people in the pop industry keep on ripping off decent rock songs to make them in to pop crap.

I don't think so. Mostly I am SO glad you put emotional rock which HAS to mean emo, right? I have asked and seen other people ask what emo music is and not one could give a good answer. THANKS!
I also think that maybe we'd be better off if the content of some songs would not be so violent even if they are about how someone grew up, etc. I don't mean it should all be "sunshine and lollipops' but I think to make the world a better place that music could be more positive as a whole.

How could there not be rock? Every guitarist I've ever met played Paranoid as their first recognisable riff even My 12 year old and hes never even heard the track until after he learnt to play it.
