i woudl hurt people who make more than minimum wage and do nothing for those making it.

if your talking about federal minimum wage hikes then they wont benefit many at all. The reason being is that all but 5 states have state minimum wage rates that are higher then the federal. And the 5 that arent are in the process of raising them even higher then the federal rate. Basically this wage hike was overrated and many bought into it those that dont read the fine print.

Minimum wage shouldn't be viewed as something that will help one particular group or race. There are people of every color struggling to make ends meet. Raising the minimum wage is useless to some because it only means that they will have more money to spend on things unneccessary to survival, thus meaning that one will spend more than is coming in. However, it will be beneficial to those that use their money wisely and attempt to support themselves, their family and stay on top of their debt. Yes, it may hurt some small business, but it could possibly help in many other areas.

Once again people ignore the OBVIOUS racism of this question. Young white women are the most likely people to be earning minimum wage. Do a simple web search. I've listed ONE of many possible examples of proof of this.

It will help ANY minimum wage earners but harm small business owners and buyers who will eventually absorb the increased wages.
