None that I know of, but it is vital you take your thyroxine as it is necessary for your body's metabolism regulation otherwise all functions will slow down and you will feel lethargic and your weight may increase.

Yes. Eat food with a good supply of Iodine (any food to do with the sea, really) Best sources are seaweed (you can buy kelp tablets, if you don't like the taste), and make sure to use sea salt. Another thing that you should be doing is stimulating teh thyroid. The best way to do this, and the easiest, is with one yoga move, the sarvangasana. Lie on your back. Raise you legs and you buttocks off the floor, until your body is straight in the air and you are supporting it on your neck. Your chin should be pressed against you chest, and you support your back with your hands. Every time you breath, your thyroid will be massaged, and this will help to normalise it.

I knew someone who was hyperthyroid and his doctor put him on steroids to gain weight. I personally was hyperthyroid and had radioactive iodine treatment and I started to feel better about 2 or 3 months after. I noticed I started gaining weight about 5 lbs every year. Now I am about 10 lbs over my recommended weight for my age and height but find it almost impossible to lose any weight.
Just make sure you get proper treatment as a thyroid problem is more delicate than what people think. Also a good doctor who listens to you really helps. Good luck.

The thyroid is a butterfly-shaped gland that sits low on the front of the neck. Your thyroid lies below your Adam’s apple, along the front of the windpipe. The thyroid has two side lobes, connected by a bridge (isthmus) in the middle. When the thyroid is its normal size, you’re unlikely to be able to feel it.
All types of hyperthyroidism are due to overproduction of thyroid hormones, but the condition can develop in several ways.
Thyroid hormone production can be suppressed or halted completely in these ways: https://tr.im/gLIxf

If you want something natural and that has been around for years try Armour thyroid. It's the oldest thyroid medication and I believe it to be superior to all the lab made thyrod meds. I had almost every hypo symptom when I was on Levoxyl. Now on Armour I have hardly any. Armour is dosed according to the blood tests free t4 and free t3, not TSH. You need to get the Free T4 midrange and the free t3 high in range. Some links are below

I dont know any actual herbal pills or anything, but just regular exercise and a healthy diet with lots vitamin rich veggies in. Also i think food with iron in is good, as you will have a slow sluggish motabilism and it needs pepping up. I have underactive thyroid too and this general rule works for me.

Thyroid disease is one of the most common health problems we face today. From a practical standpoint, there are many ways to approach this issue. Learn here https://tinyurl.im/aH6rd Hypothyroidism, or underactive thyroid, is a very common problem, and there are many reasons for this, including drinking chlorinated and fluoridated water, and eating brominated flour. Chlorine, fluoride, and bromine are all in the same family as iodine, and can displace iodine in your thyroid gland. Secondly, many people simply aren't getting enough iodine in their diet to begin with. The amount you get from iodized salt is just barely enough to prevent you from getting a goiter.
