Neither -- it would merely result in a change in temperature due to the addition of a cooler liquid.
A physical change is when something goes from solid to liquid (melting), liquid to vapor (boiling), or solid to vapor (sublimation).
A chemical change would be mixing magnesium and hydrochloric acid to make magnesium chloride and hydrogen gas.

Temperature changes like melting, freezing, evaporating or boiling, condensing, and sublimating and simple mixing of liquids even at same temperatures (absent of chemical reactions) are PHYSICAL CHANGES.
In your case you are mixing a hot item with a cold item with the attendant result of less hot mixture so this is a physical change.
Also, the creation of a lighter colored coffee is also a physical change. HOWEVER, it is possible that there is a chemical reaction (where bonds are made and broken) between components of coffee with the components of milk. Without that prior knowledge, the change is mainly PHYSICAL

its just plain physical chsnge man!. its thermodynamics, if you put a cold milk on a hot coffee, the temperature will cahnge because there is a change in heat energy. its definitely not a chemical change because if it is then probably its not coffee youre drinking anymore hehehehe

That's a physical change. No bonds are being broken or formed; the same molecules have just lost kinetic energy.
