I DON'T think any bank would charge you for depositing money in to your account in that bank,they charge only if you taken a loan,non-operational account or any other transactions to your account involving banks payment,other wise it may be a mistake or computer error from the part of the bank/staff.any way if you think something suspicious contact the bank authorities and clarify your doubts.
