never. if you are in a monogomous relationship and have both been tested for STDs and HIV and want to have sex without a condom, you should use birth control. get advice from your doctor or a clinic on what kind is best. women can get pregnant any time of the month. A lot of people think that if a girl has sex during her period, she can't get pregnant. But it is possible for a girl to get pregnant while she is bleeding. This can happen for a couple of reasons:
Not all vaginal bleeding is the result of a menstrual period. Sometimes a girl will have a small amount of vaginal bleeding at the time of ovulation — the time when she is most fertile. During ovulation, an egg is released from one of the ovaries and travels down a fallopian tube to the uterus. It's common for girls who are ovulating to have some vaginal bleeding that can be mistaken for a period.
Sometimes ovulation can occur before the bleeding from a girl's period has stopped, or it may occur within a few days after her period is over. Sperm can fertilize an egg for several days after ejaculation. So in both cases, having sex before the period is finished can result in pregnancy.
Having unprotected sex at any time is very risky. Along with the chance of becoming pregnant, there is also the risk of getting a sexually transmitted disease (STD), such as chlamydia, genital warts, or HIV. The only surefire way to prevent pregnancy and STDs is abstinence. If you do have sex, use a condom every time to protect against STDs. And talk to your doctor about additional forms of contraception.

Catholics say Natural Family Planning.
What are some of the natural methods?
The Ovulation Method
The Ovulation Method is a technique of natural fertility control which is based on the understanding of regular changes in the woman’s cervical mucus. Couples then use this knowledge to reliably identify the times when they are fertile and infertile. The Ovulation Method was developed by two medical doctors and is used in countries throughout the world as an effective and scientifically tested way to avoid or achieve pregnancy.
The Sympto-Thermal Method
The Sympto-Thermal Method is the oldest effective natural method still in use in the United States. It involves the observation of regular changes in a woman’s cervical mucus and body temperature as well as other physical signs. These signs provide a cross-check by which couples can reliably determine the times of fertility and infertility; they can then use this information to increase or limit the size of their family.
*NOTE: I am a recovered Catholic.
I urge you to please use protection.

It's never a good idea to have unprotected sex unless you are willing to risk becoming pregnant, NOT EVEN DURING YOUR PERIOD. If you are ready to be a parent or risk contracting an STD, then have unprotected sex. If not, then don't even think about it.

Unless you have both been tested for STD's, there is no best time. Why risk it? People die from AIDS all the time, and it's completely preventable. You need to start thinking more maturely.

About 50 years after the wedding.
Then neither the lack of protection against disease or against pregnancy is likely to phase you.

That is ONLY safe when you are on the pill and taking it regularly. Otherwise, don't do it. Everyones cycle is different, so don't rely on what other people tell you. You need to monitor your own cycle and figure out when you are ovulating and when you are not.

Like, never. The day you decide to test this theory is the day you become PREGO or worse, with an STD.
