Not sure exactly what your question is so I will offer my advice based on my impression. First off, your husband cannot FORCE you to stay married. You need an attorney, no matter what. And you need to move away from your husband if you haven't already. Let your attorney speak for you. Your husband will also have to get an attorney and his attorney will speak for him. Eventually things will get settled and you will be able to go through with the divorce, whether your husband likes it or not. Chances are, after a year or so, things will get settled and he will be more willing to give you a divorce. It may take longer. He can hold it up, but not indefinitely. I don't know all the laws, but I do know that you cannot be forced to remain in the marriage merely for his sake. With one child, it will not be dfifficult to find someone else to accpet you and love you. The more kids a person has, hate to say it, but the more limited the choices. But some people think of a woman with a child, especially a single woman with a child, to be quite responsible. But at this point, that is the last thing you should worry about. You need some time to yourself to figure out what you even want and don't want in a relationship, so take this time, as you go through the process of divorce, to reflect and figure that out. good luck.

You sue your current husband for divorce in a court of law. He has no choice in the matter, he can fight you for the kid though so be careful there. I wouldn't worry too much about finding new love right now.. you have far too much on your plate to be concerned about that. Take good care of yourself and your child.
Look for a good Attorney, and file the papers, request that your current husband has to move out of the home, so at least you can have some peace and quite at home.
You can always call the District Attorney's office for further advise.
Good Luck

Someone will want to be with you for you, and not worry about the fact that you have four children. Those children were a gift from God, and should be treated as such. They will always love you unconditionally, but men will come and go. You can find true love, I certainly did, and I am the mother of two adult males, and on under aged female, and I am in love, needless to say that it is better the second time around. I was in love with their father, but it wasn't meant to be, now I'm glad because I have found the one I was meant to be with at last!

hi shweta
first why do you want to get divorce.
are you not happy with your marriage
is there any problem with your husband.
if you two hav any problems which cant be solved then only go for divorce.
there will be nice people who wil marry yu though u hav a kid.
but dont show your wealth and job to attract guys.
becoz seeing they wil show fake love and marry and at the end you wil again suffer. so wait for the person who wil really love you.
so again think very well and take the decision.
all the best

WITHOUT a legal divorce, am sure u cannot be anothers mans wife. Even if u get true love, u will only end up as a keep.....so get ur divorce first and then search for true love, or for that matter love....

go to the courthouse! tell them there situation they will give you some forms to fill out and take care of you. he can not want to divorce you, but there is a legal system that says if you want a divorce you get one.
