There is no law that says someone must rent you an apartment just because you have children.

However, you can't be discriminated against solely because you have children as long as there isn't some other factor involved (occupancy limits, age restricted housing, owner occupied buildings, etc).

There are many apartment communities that are for seniors only, etc. Unless the complex is full of other people with children, it is not discrimination.

No.

Just foolish.

Just like not accepting pets. It is the parents/owners responsibility to make sure the property is not destroyed. With or without children/pets adults can be just as uncaring an destructive.

yes it is
there are case precedents of people that have fought and won
i know a person wanted into a townhouse which 100% against pets ....he had a cat...and wanted the townhouse 100%.
they brought up a council meeting , with the potential owner and realized the cat...was neutered..a house cat..and well behaved..and they allowed it via a meeting..also the potential owner (and the cat was present at the meeting) was a type that would fit with the community.
so doesn't have to be a big issue..sometimes..quiet exceptions are made..
