I think you've pretty much nailed most of them. It's funny that Manny doesn't even get as much attention as some of his teammates, considering that he's a first-ballot HOFer with incredible numbers. And it's good to see Robby Alomar on there. I think he was an amazing player, although I could see a good argument being made for Ryno.
The only position where I would differ is your starting pitcher. Unit had an amazing run for a few years and is the best strikeout pitcher of the generation, but I would take Roger Clemens, who I believe is the best starting pitcher of the past half century.
Beyond that, I think you've made great choices.

SP - Greg Maddux (for a time, he was absolutely unhittable, much more so than Clemens or Randy Johnson)
C - Pudge Rodriguez (Great leader, superb defense and very good hitting)
1B - Albert Pujols (You can't ignore the fact that the guy has never hit below .300 or 34 homers in a season)
2B - Ryne Sandberg (Great power and run production and a very underrated defensive 2nd sacker)
SS - Nomar Garciaparra (Again, for a time, he was easily better than anyone at the position across all categories)
3B - Mike Schmidt (the fact that he was the premier power hitting third baseman for so many years seems to overshadow his 10 Gold Gloves)
OF - Ken Griffey, Jr. (People seem to forget that he was the best all-around player of the 1990's and gunning for best of all-time until injuries hit him)
OF - Ichiro Suzuki (Perhaps the most quintessential all-around player with hitting, defense, and speed playing today)
OF - Tony Gwynn (One of the smartest and best hitters to play the game, and a fine defender to boot)

It's hard to disagree with your list. I would diefiantely add Mo Rivera as my closer. If I was forced to take a cemterfielder I would go with Griffey Jr. but Manny is right there.and the Rocket Vs. the Unit is a close call to, but think the list is good.
