With Bush wanting credit for spreading democracy in the middle east, and after the voters have symbolized their vote to take away his parties power in congress, does he do want he wants a sign of monarchy?

The problem is that we give the president unlimited powers once we declare war on someone. That needs to be changed.

According to you - a President who doesn't do what you like is a tyrant / monarch.

The public may not like the current situation in Iraq, by and large, but that does not mean that they all agree on the liberal conclusion of pulling out.

Administration comments that 'you can't run a war by committee' are right on. Those decisions are made by the military and the commander-in-chief. NOT the citizens.

People forget that we were already into this war in 2004 when Bush was RE-elected President. Yes, the democrats took over both houses in 2006 - but it was NOT simply the war that caused that to happen.
