New MP3. How do I go about installing and putting music in?

My sis just got an mp3 player DVR and I'm trying to install it for her. I don't exactly know how. There was a little disc that came with it but I don't know where the heck to put it. I only know how to install ipods...mp3's aren't my area of expertise. Can someone help?

And also, after I tried putting in music, I have no idea how to turn it on! There's like no on/off button.
