A "hobby" is an activity you engage in during your free time. Typically, it's something that you enjoy doing just for the sake of doing it. Meaning nobody has to tell you to do it, or you're not forced to do it.
Hobbies are a good way to relax, or work out stress. Sometimes hobbies serve as a distraction to something negative that's happening in your life.
Almost anything could be a hobby. For example, I like to spin records in my spare time. Or do woodworking projects around the house. Those are things that I like doing.

A hobby is something you enjoy to do in your spare time. It can be as simple as reading a book or watching television. It could be playing with your children or taking a bath. In the end, a hobby is something which you enjoy for you, that is what it is good for.

a hobby is what you love doing and every day or other day you do it say swimming it can be a hobby you could go swimming every day it is something that keeps you busy and that you love doing more than anything else

It keeps your mind active, as it should be, you can find like minded individuals and make friends and in my case it takes my mind of the murderous voices in my head.

Something you are interestedi n that doesn't earn you money. It is good for peace of mind and personal fulfillment. Unfortunately, I have none.
