you will need to download the free unlimited use demo of winzip:

http://www.winzip.com/

or this freeware zip program

http://www.7-zip.org/

once you download one, install it, and your machine should recognize .zip files.

I suggest using ExtractNow - I find it is better than most others, and smaller
