Well most any place that has a liscence for business requires a work permit for children 15yrs old or younger. Some news paper places allow young kids to deliver newspapers or to either sell subscriptions to their paper. You might could even ask some elderly people at your church or in your community f they have some light jobs that you could do for them, like sweeping, taking out trash, or maybe even doing their laundry or taking care of their pets or plants. I hope this helps.

Well, paper delivery is an option. I don't know if a pet shop would let you have such a job, since you're that young, and besides, thats what they make there workers do. So I think babysitting might be your best option, although it's hard to believe a 12 yr old would be babysitting someone else. You're mature for your age. Help mom with choirs and keep up the good work. =]

The going rates for babysitters is anywhere from $2-$5 depending on experience, number of children, and amount of time. For a 12 year old, I'd start with $3-$4. Trust me, if parents think you're doing a good job they will pay you more.

babysitting is always a good job for someone who is not legally able to work or even a paper route. I dont think they can hire you at that pet store until you are 16 but it wouldn't hurt to ask.
I think you should just be a kid for now because once you start working...you will work until you retire.

you can not, under the age of 15 or 16 you need a special work permit to work in a public place. I dont know if a 12 year old can even get this liscense. id look into work permits. You do have the rest of your life to work though, enjoy your fun.
