Why do conservative not pity katrina victims?

why did all of the horror stories of blacks knocking out lights in the superdome bathrooms and turning them into rape rooms and engaging in murder and cannibalism and death tolls inflated by a factor of 15 come from progressives trying to inflate the market for their "pity" for katrina victims?

why were all the refugees absorbed by red states and not san fran or massachussetts?

why are progressives still humping the corpses of katrina victims a year and a half later?

As a Conservative, my view on the events on how the government acted to the response of Hurricane Katrina is not the same than what others believe. When a natural disaster occurs anywhere in America, all branches of government including the Federal, State, County, and local government will do their part but if citizens do not do their part, how can government assist out? Take for example a show I watch on The Weather Channel called It Could Happen Tomorrow. There is one episode about a Hurricane Hitting New York City. Did you know that if a hurricane hits New York City, you have less than 36 hours to evacuate Manhattan and the other boroughs? Did you know that most New Yorkers believe that a Hurricane cannot happen in New York City? My case in point is that when a Hurricane is going to strike an area, the citizens are the ones who have to get out of harms way. With Hurricane Katrina, the Federal, State, County, and Local governments told citizens what they needed to do to get out of harms way but if citizens decided not to take warnings and seek shelter or evacuate, how is that the governments fault? Citizens have a responsibility to get out of the way when natural disasters occur because if they choose to be in harms way when governments tell them to get out of the way, that is not the governments fault, it is the citizen’s fault?

Sweetie--I am a conservative and I do pity the poor, elderly and infirm who were neglected by their own DEMOCRATIC elected officials. Now those same corrupt officical (who they chose to re-elect) are stealing the billions in relief sent to them.

I do NOT however pity the lame-a$$es who took advantage of the funds sent to them--bought porn, liquor, drugs, diamonds etc. They squandered their aid--too bad. I sent donations on several occassions. Never again.

Did you even bother to read the link you provided? All your answers are in there. Why keep pouring money into NO-when it will just be used to further their criminal ambitions?
