I do, its very simple you see, they flat out hate you, so they use their emotions to come up with a completely flawed argument, and then pass it on to the next person who's brain cell count is significantly lower due to the hippie lettuce

I have met a total of approximately five liberals for whom I have any respect. Don't misunderstand, I couldn't care less whether or not someone agrees with my opinions regarding politics (you know what they say about opinions). Liberals however, tend to insert emotion and hyperbole into every debate, resort to the ad hominem almost immediately, and repeat the same horse manure ad nauseam (ie. "Bush lied, people died", "No war for oil", and "He was selected, not elected").

On those rare occasions when I debate a point with a leftist who has well-reasoned, intelligently-presented points, we get along famously.

The chickenhawk argument should only be used for specific individuals who have earned the name through their actions. To make a blanket assumption shows a lack of thought on the poster's part.

Personally, I know plenty of conservatives who have served (and are serving) their country with valor. I honor them for their service and thank them when I can-and this includes helping family members left behind, donating money for body armor, etc. I honor them too because they are walking their talk.

That being said, I will also state that conservatives are known to make generalizations about liberals that are merely flamebait and not condusive to a valid discussion of the issues.

By the way, I am a liberal who has demonstrated against going into Iraq since 2003. But I am also a liberal who genuinely supports those who have gone into harm's way. To my mind, there is no disconnect between these two positions; in both, I feel I am supporting the troops. When a citizen of the United States feels that the policies implemented by their leaders are wrong, it is their duty (imho) to petition Congress and to utilize the right of free speech via demonstrations and letters to the editors. I applaud any and all conservatives who follow these actions as much as I applaud liberals for doing so.

i became born into an truly conservative family which i think of made me appreciate all people for who they are. Many cons think of that blacks are below them yet i think of there are low-existence's in each race and custom. i do no longer think of race has something to do with the style of individual somebody is or maybe nevertheless i could evaluate myself a conservative according to my perspectives on abortion, immigration, and gun administration, I do appreciate and love all people the two. *will develop hand

Your avatar leads me to believe you are a conservative clown, one of many trying to force us into big floppy shoes and rainbow striped hair, ( too hippie that). I have no liberal argument of any sort, I just hate rainbows.

Yet, the term "hippie lettuce" (did you pay Rome for using his line?) rolls off of your keyboard with ease. I am a liberal who spent over 6 years in the military and was honorably discharged. I am disgusted that so many architects of this war declined to serve when called upon.
Instead of "chicken hawk" does "let's get them, I'll hold your coat!" work better for you?
