I don't think anyone cares per se, it's just that it's more common to be right handed. You should consider yourself special--it's not a bad thing--plus, do you know how many successful people were/are left handed---quite a few considering they're actually out numbered by the righties. Consider yourself unique in a good way.

I think it's cool. I mean I'm not left-handed and when I see someone who is I do get kind of excited because it's something different. I don't think people think it's weird it's just different and not many people are use to seeing someone who is left handed. I try to think it in my head though and not make it a big announcement or anything.

Because most people are right handed and if they see their child eating or picking things up with the left hand the immediately "correct" it as if it is wrong. I had an older cousin who did that when her son was born he kept picking things up with his left hand and everytime he did she would pop his hand. And put whatever he was picking up with his left hand in his right. I don't get really "amazed", except if they have neat hand writing because most lefties I know have terrible hand writing.

lol very good question. i myself are very amused with people and why they comment over left-handers.. (i'm a left handed person) i guess its the fact that the majority of the world are right-handers and do everything with their right hands. there are statistics they about 2 to 30 percent of the entire world is left handed, also the fact that 1 and a half to 2 times more men are left handed then woman are and i'm left handed woman. woot. i guess that makes me special. lol no i'm kidding im just as good as everyone else. but one thing i hate is the majority of like scissors, tools, sports stuff are meant to be for right handers, they make everything for right handers. selfish dontcha think? dispite the fact that there are scissors, tools and sports stuff its VERY hard to find them. you have to search high and low!!

My sis and her hubby are both left handed. They get that all the time! My step son is ambidextrous which gets him even funnier looks. When playing baseball, he uses a right handers glove and then takes it off to throw. He can't catch with a left handers glove and he can't throw with his right hand.
