A guy likes a girl that is kind, understanding and honest at that moment in time. While a girl wants all those qualities yet looks for the possibilites or the potential in a man, such as he "may" one day be a doctor or affluent. Just wondering!!??!!

Many young women "fall" for a guy who doesn't have all the good qualities she is looking for. She then thinks she has to take a chance. During their first few years of life together, she believes she will be able to "change" him into the kind of person she really wants to be with. They will then either leave the man, or fall into a situation where they aren't really happy, just comfortable, and stop trying to change him.
One thing most women don't take into account is that they cannot "change" anyone except themselves. There are many things that account for a persons personality: upbringing, views on subjects, peer pressure, work ethics, etc. Each person is an individual.
If a woman cannot love a man for who he IS, she should stop trying to change him. This is true especially when he/she does not want to be changed.
It's a growing process. Many older women have learned that they cannot change their man and learn to accept him for who he is.

I feel like it is true and false. Some women do look for a guy that is going to become a doctor or some kind of professional. I don't care to much about that. I just want a guy that i enjoy to be around and have SOMETHING going for them. You don't have to be rich, but work towards something. Nobody wants a lazy person. that is how i feel.

Personally I love a guy who is honest, faithful and romantic...
the way they are and act with u is what should ONLY matter..
Well, I don't care if they have major careers but at least have money for both of us to survive with..
