I live in Clearwater, Florida and it's like 10 degrees above freezing.

It's so incredibly cold here in Alaska that we keep the thermometer inside until the sun rises above the distant horizon come spring. We actually are in the positive for the first time in 2007 thus popped out from hibernation to enjoy the balmy weather before it disappears. If you find an answer to the question, everyone here in the frozen north would love to here from you.

You are far enough south to say that March will be when the warm weather begins. Of course, sometimes there are still cool snaps. However, you will begin seeing warmer weather (reaching the 80s) by March (no later than April). I understand what you mean by being tired of seeing the cold stuff. I live in the sunny south too, and I am sick of this cold weather.

It is 7 here in NH nad the wind chill is well below 0. It is not that cold in Clearwater. Wait for March.
