You & 30 million other users of those sites shouldn't be losing any sleep over it .... they will not prosecute you for downloading from a filesharing service. There is no law against that.
They have to prove you are using it illegally, & an IP address does not do that.
Unless you are marketing the material for profit the FBI or RCMP will not come knocking... rest assured.

yes you can. but it is very rare... since so many people do it. Limewire is more of a low key type of downloading program but u will for sure get caught if u start downloading torrent files and movies. off the internet. You can still be tracked through your IP address. They will know what router you connect through your ISP. Your safe as far as limewire goes. And if u do get caught you will get a call by your internet service giving you a warning and saying they will cancel your service if they catch you again

Yes you can get caught.
Limewire probably doesn't go through the same ports as the anonymous surfing program.

You can still be tracked through your IP address. They will know what router you connect through and your ISP. No software is truly anonymous. Hackers get around this by using multiple servers to connect through, which offers multiple layers of protection.

ur chances are slim of being caught ...... theres millions that do it ... and they bust u wen they have a file and u connect to them to download it ... anonymous surfing has nothing to do with it ...
... ur best option is to use a ip blocking software that blocks u from connecting to known threats to p2p and places that watch ...get peerguardian and blocklist manager and learn how to use it ...
